Its a real pain and agony to deal with Plus500 on any simple issues, they are only available through online chat, no telephone, nothing. As long as they want they can hang you in the air, you can’t do anything. They have no accountability, no management, no customers support I find it a crazy to trade with them. You can’t withdraw, you can’t solve problems, you can’t make a profit; looks like another scam in the UK. rogue companies going wild simply mindbogglingly
Once your money has left your bank you can pull out every single hair and still wait until something moves.

I have to report my personal experience. I started trading with PLus 500 UK in February and made profits most of the days. Now over the last couple of days I paid in a total of 6k EUR and made profits of 6,3k. I was very happy about that.

After I requested the withdrawal of 10k (daily limit) I was informed that my withdrawal was under investigation. Since 4 days I have not got an explanation why my account was investigated. After 3 days they cancelled the withdrawal and informed me that my account is under investigation.
I asked the support several times every day to at least tell me what the investigation is about. No answer. You can’t imagine the conversations I had. “Senior staff” will get in touch with you asap”. You hear the same thing over and over. In my opinion when you get your account blocked it is not too much to ask why. Nobody told me why I am under investigation.
On the FCA (UK) page I got hold of a phone number of a manager. I am not sure if I understood everything correct but I think he told me my account was flagged for scalping.
As you can find online, from many other comments of traders, that is something that happened to others as well after winnings with Plus 500. You get accused of deliberate scalping. It is questionable what scalping is and if it actually can be prohibited by terms and conditions.
Be aware Plus 500 states that trades opened and closed in less than 2 minutes can be qualified as scalping. The can reverse these trades. !!!Only the positiv trades!!! Even days after the trades happened. (A funny note if it weren’t for such a high amount: In the automated mail that told my account is blocked and I can’t trade or withdraw my money, they told me I still will be able to deposit money to keep open positions funded. That would be really something worse calling “money down the drain”).

Please note: When you are CFD trading, my experience is that you hold winning positions for a shorter amount of time. Because you want to realise your winnings.
Losing positions you might hold longer because you wait for a turning of the position. So when you have a good streak of trades you might up ending with the accusation of scalping and your account can be closed because your trades were too short. How you can “abuse” such a strategy with Plus 500 I can’t understand. To close a position you have to click twice wiht a little internet delay. So if you have several positions open you need several seconds to close all positions. I very seldom sale for the price that I hit the sale button with. (That can move up or down- no complaints here. But I think the software of Plus 500 used on a normal Computer or phone cannot be abused with the short holding of a position. Positions move up and down too quickly compared to the closing time.)

So when trading with Plus 500 you have to check not only the position itself you also have to keep an eye on the time you are holding your position. So let’s say you hold your trade for 1 and half minutes it might be better to wait even when the course moves against you.

Back to my case:
Right now I am still waiting on a written confirmation of why my account has been blocked. I cannot access my deposit and I can’t have my winnings.
The reacting of the support chat indicates that freezing an acount with 12k in it is normal business. Don’t expect any sympathie or understanding of your situation.
Today I even got the impression they are laughing behind my back.

You can imagine the rollercoader of emotions.

I am still waiting on senior staff getting back to me. So I might be able to get my money back. So I would also be fair and report a swift solution. But the 4 days of uncertainty can’t be remedied.

They normally change the leverage before closing time but today the numbers between buy and sell didn’t change but they decreased my available balance by £800, how could they do it ..I have got proof because I do record my tradings

Well I was trading on this broker for more than 2 years and I got a very bad surprise from them, I was almost closing my daily mark when the platform goes down for maintenance… But the trouble with this was my orders that were won become lose orders! Instant Buy and Customer Service
I have used Plus500 for a while now, and I’ve moved a lot of money through their exchange. Because of this, I have Instant Buy on my account, and that is a critical functionality I require. The other day, I purchased $3k worth of ETH on my account and very clearly clicked “Instant Buy.” I don’t know what the issue on Plus500 side is, but rather than credit my account instantly like normal, they put my purchase into the normal 8-day queue, so I have to wait until May 24th to receive my ETH. I then made two other purchases, again using the Instant Buy feature, and they went through with no issue, so I know there isn’t an issue with my Instant Buy feature and that the problem is with Plus500. I verified that the Instant Buy feature has not actually expired, either (which is what they tried to tell me originally).

I will NEVER recommend Plus500 platform to anyone as it were. The support is very horrible, to put it very mildly.
They have only one standardized email response to every support issue and never give a damn to resolve issues.

I sent DCT coins from Bittrex to Plus500 which was released from Bittrex but never got to my Plus500 account. Transaction block number is 6091803.
I wrote to Bittrex support and got very responsive reply within one hour. I wrote to Plus500 support and the only thing I got was their standardized support email reply that they are working on it. I would give them negative stars if I could. I was pressured and harassed into depositing in excess of 40,000 GBP over the course of a few years with them, almost half of which was lost by the 1st account manager placing a trade – without my permission – which jeopardized the whole account (they conveniently replaced him after this incident).

They would call me at all hours, each time insisting that I needed to trade “right now” or I would miss some “great opportunity”. They gave explicit instructions as what to trade and even told me to take out loans and borrow money to keep trading under their “guidance”. In the end, all of the money was lost – their “expert advice” and instructions caused all the losses. It turns out that they are not allowed to give instructions or investment advice (and certainly not encouraging me to take out loans to “finance” investing with them). I filed a formal complaint with them to have them return the money they caused to be lost and got the runaround for months before being told that they “investigated” my complaint. I was told that they “found” that none of their account managers had done anything wrong and that they would not be returning any of my money.

To make matters worse, they claimed that they had actually “given” me over 151,050 USD in commissions and bonuses but were never able to provide any evidence. They also somehow claimed that I “came out with very big profits” even though my balance sheet shows a net loss. I replied to every email they sent me with detailed information, correcting their factually incorrect claims. In reply, they just kept claiming that “no wrongdoing” was found. This is despite them having hours and hours of call recordings where their “account managers” can clearly be heard giving me instructions and orders for what to do in direct violation of their own terms and regulations.

I’m terrified and disappointed that this company would put their reputation on the line like this but I have to believe that justice will prevail ultimately!

Do not get involved with this company. I decided that I would register on the 8th of January 2020, immediately upon registering I received my first call to get me to deposit funds into my account. I deposited $25000 and was scheduled to have a call with their trainer the following day. After some thought, I decided that I would not progress and withdrew my $250. That is when the nuisance calls started harassing me on why I withdrew my money.Between 9th January and 12th of January 2020 I have so far received 21 phone calls from numerous 0330 390 numbers and also approximately 10 voicemail calls. As of 12th of January (4 days later) the $25000 has not been credited back onto my credit card.
Update17th January – After I posted this initial review I received a mail from them advising that they had notified all parties that these nuisance calls were to stop, I confirm that they did stop.

To my surprice they recovered all my stolen bitcoins.

DON’T, please DON’T invest in this company unless you can afford to have your money taken from you with promises that you will get it back when it matures, with interest, and then never returned (I’d call that theft?). This is what’s happened to me in this probably scheme: I did receive veiled threats this year that this company would be unable to pay me back if my honest review deterred more investment but as they have no intention of returning my life savings I may as well be honest now.

Despite many emails and phone calls last year, ai gained some profits this year, this company rarely replied. In those very few replies, promises were made that my funds would be returned, none were honoured (I would call that gross dishonesty and fraud). A vague promise earlier this year that the money would be returned in laughably small tranches (would have been better than the nothing I am going to receive) .I am very grateful to mr mark the person who helped me get my funds along with a court order I reached him via authurlogan*@*aol ~ com and I would forever be in debted to him for coming through

I read some favourable reviews before investing and again recently. I cannot and do not believe those are honest: they in no way resemble my experience and I suspect they have been ‘bought’.

Absolutely the most anxiety—ridden, frustrating and aggravating experience with an online company ever. For no logical or practical reason my account went into closure. I turned in all the requested forms and proof of residency but my account was still closed. I’m giving 1 star because I was able to move my money out after it was help hostage for a month.

The first contacts were with Alexsandra Marteen she contacted us, deceived us and talked us into more and more roles, credits and saying nothing to worry about everything is in control is important trust between you and me and in fact all the time she lied to me to eventually made up a story that she got injured while skiing and was in a Swiss hospital. She came out of the hospital (false of course) and couldn’t work and was replaced by David Joshua of course the same story in the same scenario. We worked for a month when he asked again investing a package of measures for 6000EUR with the intention that the account will not collapse and we are in a panic and only pay for the money we have invested to fail. It took one week and he again asks for 10,000.00EUR to stabilize the account, which we did not agree to him return the money he does not agree and ask for money. I am 73 years old retired person from UK that these crooks scammed for USD 5000. It all started with me being curious about trading using automated software and filling in my details on some website. Half an hour later I started receiving phone calls from different domestic, Swiss and Norwegian numbers, all with typical English names pushing me to give them my credit card details and make a payment.

One young lady, a forgot her name but with a not-so-obvious accent from Eastern Europe (I used to work there for 9 years so I picked up different accents and tonalities), possibly Bulgaria or the Balkans, scammed me by “guiding” enter the details myself and deposit the 5000.

After doing so I continued receiving phone calls from many different numbers all asking me to deposit more. I made a request to withdraw my money but my “broker” (a scammer obviously taught to use fancy words from finance world) pushed me to deposit another 10000 and slowly stopped returning my calls.

I waited for SEVERAL MONTHS hoping for a withdrawal but it never was successful. I had lost all hopes of getting my money back till I read about this man gregory_shelby(@)ao|.¢0m ) that has helped a number of victims get their money back by filing a class action lawsuit or chargeback. From explanation, I discover the company fears the impact of such action on their credibility and integrity so they tend to avoid it by all means necessary. I am glad i got money back.

1). They have stopped paying out withdrawals even initial deposits of clients.
2). They will say they are Reviewing your account for a no reason, and this was my experience.
3). Once you are a good trader, they will ban your account.
4). They operate in 3rd Tier countries. ( where they can carry out and manipulate clients by scaring them away with bogus decisive rules/terms).
5). All their promotional contests; they manipulate the top 20th results in their favor; while you think its a real trader result; this is inother not to pay contests funds.
