According to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will sell the 6.7-inch iPhone for less than $ 900 in 2022 (via 9to5Mac). If that happens, iPhone 14 buyers will have a cheaper way to get the screen size Apple currently only sells on the 12 Pro Max, which starts at $ 1,099.

Kuo predicts that the slotxo iPhone 2022 non-pro range includes phones with 6.1 and 6.7-inch screens (the same sizes as the current iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, respectively). There is no iPhone Mini with a 5.7-inch screen. Analysts, including Kuo, said the Mini would depart in 2022 due to allegedly low sales.

While some may mourn the loss of a genuinely small phone option, from Apple’s point of view, expanding the mainstream line of phones makes sense. We know from documents discovered in the Epic v. Apple trial that at the end of last year,

Apple commissioned a report on smartphone purchasing habits among consumers. The report found that many customers were buying phones with screens larger than six inches and that more people turned to Samsung than Apple to meet their large phone needs.
