Mars selfies aren’t limited to American rovers. As The SLOTXO Verge notes, China had the Zhurong rover take a “tour group” photo by placing a remote camera and posing next to the platform. Also photographed an expansive panorama of the site (below), a photograph of the platform itself and an unobstructed view of the Martian surface.
Perseverance sent a selfie of himself in early April. Although it relies more on one’s arm than dropping the camera.Zhurong will be ready to study Mars’ climate and geology for approximately 90 days during the official mission.
