I signed up to take their promotion of matching $501 in bonus bets, they then tell me that after I have signed up they will not give any bonus bets, even though Ladbrokes matched it, as they said they would……. my advice is leave this money hungry deceiving company

DONT USE THESE CROOKS! If you win you better be ready for a fight. I placed a 6K straight bet on the world cup won 5.7k and they found every way possible to weasel out of paying me. An absolute disgrace for an Australian company, these guys should be on a current affair. Jail these crooks, going to take legal action.

They received both transactions. Both were pending, yet they still accepted both sports bets, played and won.
323 mBTC and 343 mBTC
They always allow plays while awaiting confirmations (after the receive the hash on the blockchain in their wallet)

After 36 hours both confirmations were not confirmed

So i contact security and I am flagged for what is called a double spend. (which my account was temporary suspended) After it was released as not a double spend security approves one of my deposits, and simply cancels the other (declined they said)

So they paid for the first bet, declined the second. One week later they magically received my other deposit. They apologize for freezing my account and give me 50 free mBTC. Due to their terms and conditions if this was an attempted double suspend I would have banned for life.

So Now its interesting coz a week after my depsoit they refuse to pay the win on the original bet…… only refund the balance.

So I had to come here document everything and let the world know what happened to me.

sportsbet.io does not play fair by all accounts. I doubt if you will ever get your winnings. But one thing is for sure, had you lost 8the bet, they would have kept your deposit after confirmations. Good website to play on, nice UI and all that, but their underhand practices leaves a lot to be desired.

Let me guess, you haven’t read the terms and conditions when you signed up to sportsbet. Instead of waiting that your transactions hade been confirmed, you started immediately spending them by betting them. Later on the transaction is still unconfirmed and pending but all the bets you made with it are allready finished. Now what company would pay people their winnings when they still haven’t even received the bets initial money yet? They should pay it out of their own pockets? That would be absurd. What if your send BTC never confirms because the fee of it is so low no miner will touch it unless the blockchain transactions is so low at the moment that they will, with more and more microstransactions going on in BTC the more unconfirmed transactions are piling up. Next time at least wait untill your transaction has been confirmed before actually using it. See it like this: Your job transacted your paycheck to the bank to make it out to you, the bank usually takes 3 days doing this untill you see it on your bank account, since we don’t see the background of it we think it instantly shows up in our bank account. Now are you able to spend this money before it has actually reached your bank account? No. Yet you did on sportsbet. If you look at your situation from an objective point of view, it appears more likely that spending unconfirmed money falls into the scam category.
Also the whole situation could have been easily avoided if sportsbet would only allow you to make a bet only untill after the money cleared, but since todays people have zero patience mentality they allowed this, again see their terms and conditions, which obviously nobody reads.

I barely play Sportbet casino and few are my withdrawals it’s frustrating cause they charged fees when you withdraw to their casino even if it’s a e wallet service just like in moneybookers. The terms and conditions stated that the first withdrawal of every month was entitled to a free withdrawal and after that the next withdrawal will be charged according to the standard fee.

I have always deposited using trusty and withdrawn via fast bank transfer. Always got my money in my bank same day. This time I’ve been waiting a week upto now and customer services are saying it can take upto 10 business days. 2 weeks for a withdrawal is appalling for a fast bank transfer. Don’t think I’ll be playing again.

Sportsbet is the only Bitcoin sportsbook that offers exact outcome betting for boxing/ufc.
So for example, rather than betting on Saul “Canelo” Alvarez at -1429 (1.07), you can bet that he will win by knockout at -303 (1.33).
Since “Canelo” has a 64% knockout ratio, it makes more sense to me to wager 1.33 than 1.07, especially if you like his chances in the match.

was initially very skeptical about sportsbet, I had read in several places that one would experience problems as soon as one tried to withdraw money.
BUT, I deposited money, won money without a bonus, and withdrew the same day and it went perfectly.

They just had to validate my account, I had to send some papers, driving licenses etc, but after that it went seriously 15 minutes then all the money was in my account.

Yeah Id stay away from Sportsbet.
I have been using them for a few years on and off now and they are useless! Their promotions are terrible and only apply to 1 state in Aus. They take nearly a week to withdraw money, hours to pay out wins and I’m pretty certain they’ve changed the odds on bets I’v placed.. They have no clue about most sports.
The customer service is quite arrogant and rude also.
There’s plenty of other better online bookies to use!
